Should you schedule a technician appointment for your pet?

We offer the convenience of scheduling appointments for your pet that do not require a doctor’s supervision. All we need is an up-to-date patient relationship with a doctor at Allandale within the last year and a valid rabies vaccine.

Technician Appointments:

Nail Trim

Pets typically need a nail trim once a month to avoid discomfort and pain from overgrown nails. Allandale technicians can clip or dremel your pet’s nails.

Anal Gland Expression

Some dogs and cats need anal gland expressions when they are unable to express them naturally. Signs that your pet may need this procedure include scooting, licking at their anus, or a pungent smell.

Ear Cleanings

As a preventative measure to avoid possible ear infections, it is advisable to clean your pet’s ears if they have gotten wet from swimming or bathing. Some pets require regular ear cleanings as a preventive measure.
